  Notes	An exract from an unknown book records details of some Coppenhall Paupers, 1800-1836. Mentioned are Willliam YOXALL, his wife Mary and some details of the help they were given. Also mentioned is another William YOXALL, who was sentenced to transprtation to Australia for burglary, after his original sentence of death was commuted to 7 years. The book is however incorrent with regard to what happened to William the convict after he served his sentence fo 7 years. Whilst the nook records he returned to England in 1828, he settled in Australai, married a female convict Julia CASEY and had a family that a large number of descendants today. Both William YOXALL are related to Abraham YOXALL & Mary SHENTON. [8]
